Expanding in New Zealand...

Hi,
I am Dorine and I was born in the Netherlands.
Nowadays I live in New Zealand and consider myself a citizen of the world. My three children were brought up here in New Zealand, but they are likely to end up in several corners of the world; my youngest has been living in Europe for 2 years already. So I was looking to find a way to travel when and where I/we want to.
At present Travel is still restricted to a great extend, but that doesn't stop me getting financially independent for when the borders open again.
So lucky I saw an ad like this one that got me curious. And what I discovered actually blew my mind. I knew I was capable of running my own company, albeit a small Natural Health Therapy business from home. What I found through that ad was a very well 'oiled machine' in the Personal Development Industry - all I had to do was set up my own company and all training was given to me as an independent distributor.
As it happens I am very passionate about Personal Development and had been using it for myself and in my own business, but this company's set up and fabulous people showed me another level of what was possible in both personal growth and financial growth. What inspired me most is the potential of reaching so many people around the world and to see them invest into their own growth.
It all begins with making up your mind as to what you really want in life and then committing to that.
I love having my children around with their friends; quality time mucking about in the kitchen creating yummy and healthy food and then spending the rest of the time in the garden.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: A few years ago my husband decided to retire early (at 55) and take up his hobby and earn an income from that. Bold move, I know! We had more time freedom, but - having gone back to about 30% of the previous income - we didn't have financial freedom to do what we wanted. No more dinners out or taking a vacation. That is not what we had in mind for our early retirement. Meanwhile we had also shifted to the countryside and I had to build up new clientele for my Natural Health business / Life energy coaching. Life started to only be about money... and not in a positive way. Do you know what I mean?
THE BOOK THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: Many years ago, in fact just before the 1987 Share market crash, I did a personal development course: The Dale Carnegie course. This was delivered to a group of maybe 50 people and we studied these 3 books: How to Stop Worrying and Start Living, How to Win FRIENDS and Influence PEOPLE, and The Quick and Easy Way to EFFECTIVE SPEAKING. I noticed (and those around me as well) how my confidence grew and my actions became more effective in so many ways. And from then on I KNEW that Personal Development is vital in one's success; to create paradigm shifts and go forward.
THE BUSINESS: The business that I was led to with that ad, is the business that I run today. Representing award winning Personal Development products, tapping into a global economy and connecting with clients from New Zealand and the rest of the world. I'm privileged to work with incredible entrepreneurs who are supportive, talented and simply the best in their field. I am super happy with this set up in my life, Especially now that things are changing in the world because of the pandemic. It may be a solution to 'how to work from home and build up a wonderful income', with ongoing training available.
